Runes answer more briefly than tarot. Where a tarot spread unfolds a story, a rune usually gives one compact instruction - which makes them good for specifics: go or don't go, speak or stay quiet, wait or act now.
We work with the Elder Futhark - 24 staves, upright and reversed. We don't use the blank "Odin's rune": it doesn't exist in the historical Futhark and was added in the twentieth century as a supplement to commercial sets.
The method is blunter than tarot and less inclined to console. If you want a gentler conversation, start with a card reading instead.
How it works
Ask something specific
Runes handle "what lies ahead" badly and "should I do this now" well.
Drawing the runes
One rune for a direct question, three for how a situation develops.
The reading
What the stave says about your question - without stretching it beyond that.
What we don't do
- We don't carve runes onto objects or make bindrunes to order
- We don't work with runescripts aimed at influencing other people
- We don't give timeframes
- We are not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer or therapist
